What are Continuous Seals?

Continuous seals are tamper-evident security devices that are used to secure shipping containers during transport. These seals are designed to provide a visible indication of any tampering or unauthorized access to the container.

Continuous seals are typically made of durable materials such as metal or high strength plastic and feature a unique identification number that is recorded in shipping documents. When the container is loaded and sealed, the number is recorded in the shipping documents and checked at each point in the supply chain to ensure that the seal has not been broken.

If the seal is found to be broken or tampered with, it is an indication that the container may have been compromised or its contents may have been stolen. In such cases, the relevant authorities are notified, and appropriate action is taken to investigate the incident and prevent further loss or damage.
