What is a Regional Distribution Center?

A regional distribution center (RDC) is a warehouse or distribution center that is strategically located in a region to facilitate the distribution of goods to stores or customers within that region. An RDC typically receives shipments from manufacturers or suppliers and then redistributes those goods to smaller distribution centers or directly to stores or customers within a specific geographic area.
