What is Neo-Bulk Cargo?
Neo-bulk cargo refers to goods that are not shipped in standard containers or packages but are still handled as individual units. Examples of neo-bulk cargo include heavy machinery, vehicles, and steel coils. Unlike containerized cargo, neo-bulk cargo is often too large or irregularly shaped to fit in standard containers, but it is still shipped in bulk quantities. Neo-bulk cargo requires specialized handling and transportation equipment and may require additional permits or documentation compared to containerized cargo. It is an important component of the shipping industry, particularly for the transport of heavy industrial goods.
