What does Freight Cargo Receipt (FCR) mean?

A Freight Cargo Receipt (FCR) is a document that serves as evidence of the contract between the shipper and the carrier. It is issued by the carrier to the shipper and includes information such as the names and addresses of the parties involved, the type and quantity of goods being transported, the date of shipment, and the terms and conditions of the contract.
