What is Floor Load?

In the shipping context, a floor load refers to a type of shipment that is loaded directly onto the floor of a container or trailer, rather than being loaded onto pallets or other shipping equipment. Floor loads are often used for large, heavy items that cannot be easily palletized, and can be more difficult to secure and transport than palletized loads.
