What is a Dry Cargo Container used for?

A Dry Cargo Container, also referred to as a General-Purpose Container, is the most common type of shipping container used for transporting a wide range of dry, non-perishable goods. These containers are made of steel and have standard dimensions in compliance with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards.

Dry cargo containers are suitable for carrying various types of dry goods, including manufactured goods, textiles, electronics, machinery, and more. They have secure doors at one end for easy loading and unloading of cargo and are available in different sizes, with the 20-foot and 40-foot containers being the most widely used.
