What does Exclusive Use of Trailer mean?

Exclusive Use of Trailer (EUT) refers to a situation where a carrier provides a dedicated trailer for the exclusive use of a shipper. This means that the trailer is not shared with other shippers and is used only for the transportation of the shipper’s goods. EUT can be beneficial for shippers as it provides greater security for their goods and reduces the risk of damage or loss during transportation. However, it can also be more expensive than other shipping options and may require additional planning and coordination.
