What is Reverse Logistics?

Reverse logistics is the process of managing the return of goods and services from the customer to the retailer, manufacturer, or other original source. This includes the planning, implementation, and control of the efficient reverse flow of products and services from the customer to the original supplier. Reverse logistics can also include the reuse of returned products or components, the recycling of materials, and the proper disposal of materials that cannot be reused or recycled.
