What is Indirect Distribution Channel?

An indirect distribution channel is a type of distribution network that involves more than one intermediary between the producer of a good or service and the customer. It typically consists of the producer, wholesalers, and retailers.

In an indirect distribution channel, the producer sells to the wholesaler, who then sells to the retailer, who in turn sells to the consumer. This type of distribution method is used when a producer does not have the resources or capabilities to directly reach the consumer.
