The Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) has implemented a series of guidelines known as a Pre-Export Verification of Conformity to Standards Program (PVoC) to ensure the quality of products.
A Certificate of Conformity (CoC) will be issued to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the applicable national standards or approved equivalents and technical regulations.
Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) contracted 3-international companies – SGS, Intertek and Bureau Veritas to carry out this exercise.
Pre-Shipment Inspection for Tanzania
