What is Wave picking?
In the shipping industry, wave picking is a method of organizing the picking and packing process for multiple orders in a warehouse. Instead of fulfilling orders individually, wave picking groups orders together based on similar products or shipping destinations. This allows workers to pick items more efficiently and reduces the time required for transportation and handling of goods.
