What is a GMA pallet?

A GMA pallet, also known as a Grocery Manufacturers Association pallet, is a type of wooden pallet that is commonly used in the shipping and logistics industry, particularly for the transportation and storage of consumer goods such as food and beverage products.

The GMA pallet is a standardized pallet size that is recognized by the Grocery Manufacturers Association, which is a trade organization representing consumer packaged goods companies in North America. The pallet is typically made of hardwood or softwood and measures 48 inches by 40 inches, with a height of 6.5 inches. It has a weight capacity of up to 4,600 pounds when evenly distributed.
