What is Direct Store Delivery (DSD)?

Direct Store Delivery (DSD) is a shipping method used by manufacturers to deliver their products directly to retail stores or other end-users. This method eliminates the need for a middleman, such as a distributor or wholesaler, and enables manufacturers to have greater control over the distribution of their products. DSD typically involves a manufacturer’s representative visiting the retail store to deliver and stock the products, ensuring that they are displayed correctly and in good condition.
