Tags: Glossary

A package that contains a large quantity of a product or commodity without individual labeling.

What does Bulk Pack mean?

In shipping, a bulk pack refers to a type of packaging used for transporting large quantities of goods. Bulk packing is typically used for goods that are not fragile and do not require individual packaging or protection.

Bulk packing is typically used for commodities such as grains, minerals, or liquids that are transported in large quantities. The goods are loaded directly into a container or transport vehicle, without individual packaging or protection. This allows for more efficient and cost-effective transport of large quantities of goods.

Bulk packing can take a variety of forms, depending on the type of goods being transported and the mode of transportation. For example, bulk goods may be transported in large sacks, drums, or containers that are specially designed for bulk transport. In some cases, bulk goods may be transported in specialized vessels, such as bulk carriers or tankers.
