What does Cubed Out mean?

Cubed Out in shipping refers to a situation where a shipping container or trailer has reached its maximum cube utilization, and no additional cargo can be loaded without exceeding the weight limit or volume capacity of the container or trailer. In other words, the available space in the container or trailer has been fully utilized, and there is no room for additional cargo.

Cubed Out is a common occurrence in shipping, especially when transporting large, bulky items or lightweight cargo that takes up a lot of space but does not weigh very much. When a shipment is Cubed Out, shippers may need to use additional containers or trailers to transport the remaining cargo, which can increase transportation costs and reduce efficiency.
