What does Containerization mean?

Containerization is the process of transporting goods using standardized shipping containers, which are designed to be easily transferred between different modes of transport, such as ships, trucks, and trains. Containerization has revolutionized the shipping industry by making it easier, faster, and more efficient to transport goods over long distances.

The basic idea behind containerization is to use standardized containers of a certain size (usually 20 or 40 feet in length) that can be easily loaded and unloaded from ships, trucks, and trains. These containers can be filled with a variety of goods, including raw materials, finished products, and consumer goods, and are designed to be stacked and secured during transport.
